How do I describe my first USMNT experience?! It.Was.AWESOME! Here are some of my thoughts:
I'm hopeful that US Soccer chooses San Antonio again for another USMNT game. It doesn't have to be against Mexico...I just want to see our guys play in my back yard where it's more accessible for me to attend. I think this was an overall good outing for the team and for the city. Obviously the grass situation would need to be fixed the next go-around, but I think that there can be more games held here.
The USA plays again on June 5th against the Netherlands in Amsterdam, another friendly to get us ready for this summer's Gold Cup. I hope to make the first US game in that competition against Honduras, to be played in Dallas at Toyota Stadium.
